Hi there, a lot of times including this last movie that i have when i try to open the Video_Ts folder with dvd shrink it gives me the error.."Failed to open file..\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO..The system cannot find the file specified". Is there any way i can fix this and what is the cause of this?

how are you trying to open the file? mine says that to and i have to use reauthor button and then open file that way.

It seems as though DVD Shrink cannot handle the encryption. You need to have AnyDVD running in the background. You can download the trial version from www.slysoft.com

I am opening by just clicking open file and selecting the Video_TS folder. One thing i noticed when i went to reauthor was that it takes away the menus, is this corect? I will try using AnyDVD now.

DVDFAB will do pretty much anything AnyDVD would do except it's free.

Yes reauthor takes away the menu - you can add it but it won't be functional.

Ok so there is basically nothing I can do to fix this with working menus(not a big deal) but would be nice to have?

Don't use reauthor in shrink - just do a full disc backup in shrink. ReAuthor is when you want the movie only - keeps the compression low.

If you want a menu then you can make a still image of the unwanted items in Shrink. The site below is a tutorial. You can having functioning menus but if nothing is there or a still image is there what is the point. Did I miss something here:
