Version doesn't really matter, they come out w/ a new one pretty much every other week and you will be notified if there's a new one.

DVDFAB Decrypter is one of the best FREE DVD ripper at the moment. Fengtao has done a tremendous job for the updates just to handle RipGuard and ARccOS flawlessly.

I totally agree, DVDFab Decrypter is a great piece of software. Fengtao, the author, uses cdfreaks.com as his forum and it is there that you will see the latest updates and news first on Fab and his other software, including beta versions.
