This may sound strange, but I was pulling a blank dvd off a spindle when I dropped it into my bowl of cream of wheat. Now, I wasn't going to let a prefectly good bowl of cream of wheat go to waste so I ate it. Theres nothing wrong with that right? I can't see anything wrong with that but you never know.

Judging by the way a spindle of discs smells, I would not want to eat anything contaminated with them. Just my opinion.

I've heard some peeps think brand new spindles of blank ty/verbatim smell like maple syrup. That'd go good with cream of wheat.

If it was a memosux dvd dunked, then you'd call it Crap of Wheat!

It's safe to eat Princos because they use food coloring for the dye unlike the phenyl..cyanine dye (cyanine part doesn't sound edible) that respectable disc makers use. As for the plastic, I'd guess Princo discs are highly flammable and toxic too.

My 8 month old seems to like them. Not the blank ones, the ones with Wiggles or Baby Einstein on them. Luckily I back up all my kids video's on cheap Prodisc (there is a use for them). Then when they ruin one, I just grab another out and back it up again. Now if I could just get my 11 year old to quit eating them ;)
