So here's the problem:
for some reason, don't ask why cause i don't know why, I deleted my backup of my original MS Dashboard (the one shown below) [ + quote]

there is a boot disk you can make to reformat the hd and bring the box back to stock you can find it in the "usual place" can't remember the name though

Yea I know all about Slayers Evox Disk and all that but the thing is I don't have the tools you use to re-softmod and xbox, and I've found a place to get Xbox Dashboard Backups but I wonder if they would work since they more than likelt came from another xbox.
