Action Replay wont Load! Help!!!!!

Ok I have a Question I hope someone will be able to answer, I have a matrix infinity 1.54 , codename ModBo 2.1 chip in my PS2. All backups and non backups play perfect! I put in the ARMAX disk (which i purchased new, is not a download) and load the codes it tells me to Launch my game, I put in my backup and then it just says "Ensure your game disc is inserted, then press OK" and when I press OK it just keeps saying the same thing. I know there is nothing wrong with the ARMAX because it works with my purchased games just fine. All of my backups and imports are working great. I just can not get the Action Replay Max to work, what could I be doing wrong?

ya action replay doesnt book backup games even if its real

oh, well thats a bit crap! Theres me thinking it would play anything. Guess ill be returning the Action Replay disc with a "fault"
