Ok i have heard that firmware that isnt updated can fudge up dvd burning. Well i have been having problems and this might be what it is, how do i check? I need to know if i should update or not, im new to the whole dvd burning thing so any detailed information would help me greatly! Thanks

U can go the ste of your dvd maker and see if they've updated the firmware or you google or go here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php or here: http://www.cdfreaks.com/drive

Your drive is not listed at rpc1 or here: http://etna.rpc1.org/qsi/

So I would assume that the drive is to new to have any updates available.
