I burn a lot with dvd shrink, but sometimes the burn fails and it tells me that my burn has failed and has been saved to "Xxx" folder. and that it can be burnt with nero or a similar program. My question is how exactly do I burn this folder with nero? Do I just write it as data or do I have to transcode it? Any help appreciated.

Open DVD Shrink, go to Edit>>>Preferences>>>File>>>I/O, then check box, burn with Nero

Thank you, but I think you are missing what I am asking. If I just want to use Nero to burn the folder that has already been processed what option in Nero do I use.

What burn engine does it fail with? You can't burn with shrink.

sometimes for whatever reason(about 5%) of the time Nero fails to burn. That's fine maybe bad blank disk or whatever. Rather than having to run shrink through again, I want to save the 10 minutes and go right into Nero and just burn the folder that shrink saved. That's what I need to know is what option to use in Nero for that.

Use bbmayo's guide to burning with Nero: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/burn%20with%20nero.pdf

This process can also be done manually, here is a guide.

It's ok to go thru the extra step. If you can create an iso to hd then you can burn with Decrypter or what ever. But when you ask a program to open it it can lead to issues.
