i read the manual and i am still confused on how to get it to work. i have a wireless router in my house. wat do i need to no to get the psp to connect to the net. thanks for anyone who can help!

Firstly turn on your wireless switch it can be found near ywhere you insert your memory stick put it in the up position.
Next on your psp go to network settings
Then infrastructure mode, a new page pops up with new connection press x and connection name pops up just leave it for now and press right on the digital pad.
If youve done everything right you should be at WLAN settings screen go to scan and scan, if your connection doesnt show up try get as close as possible, (Even with data encryption on the network should still be detected). If your connection still dont show or you get errors holla back.
If your connection was detected continue on to address settings select easy for now, next page is settings list no need to do anything here its just showing you, the settings u just made. Right digital pad to go to save screen.
If your internet is not working go back to the Address settings screen and go to custom and set your own ips.

thanks for the help im not at the house with the wirless connection but wat is an ips and second i think i did everything u said last time and i entered a website and it said the connection was dropped! i will try again at the house with wireless but have u heard of it being "dropped" b4?

Yea i have been through that too. It means your internet connection is too low.

either your internet conection is to much for the router. or the internet conection is to weak for the psp. If you have dial up and you have a broadband router, it isn't going to work to well.

i think the internet is cable and the router is for cable to but i never seem to get a signal strong then say 35%. any way to improve that?
