I just upgraded to nero7 premium and i have had nothing but problems. Every time i click on a catagory on the main menu i keep getting this message that nero has encountered a problem and must close. I tried re-installing it but keep getting the same message. has anyone any idea how to solve this.

Hi,

I recently bought the retail version and am having exactly the same problem but not in all catagories. Please let me know if you find a solution.

i previously faced the same problem.

Here what i did to solve the error.

1. Uninstall Nero. Clean the registry. Use regedit. Delete everything related to nero/ahead or u can download Nero cleaning tool(never tried it, i manually delete from registry).

2. After uninstall and cleaning the registry. Delete the Nero/Ahead folder inside your program files folder. (Somehow uninstalling Nero doesnt really delete everything including the folder)

3. Then reinstall Nero. It should be okay now. Good luck. It works for me.

I was having the same problem with the DEBUG and it was crazy making! Your fix worked well but the Nero remove tool wasn't good enough, I had to go into registry to remove all traces of Nero as well.
