AJJM,
I have already successfully backed up this movie, there shouldn't be a problem with using DVDshrink to do it, but the movie must be re-authored.

This is what you do:

1) insert the dvd in the drive and stop any auto play operations/prompts
2) run DVDshrink and choose open disk, shrink will do a quick analysis
3) click on the re-author tab, on the right of the window find Title 1 and double click on the icon (you can also drag it to the window on the left side)
4) click on the compression tab
5) here uncheck every box except the 5.1 AC3 channel english selection
6) click on the backup tab and choose ISO image file and burn with decrypter, then choose an output location
7) press ok

The backup process should now begin, when done decrypter will launch and ask for blank media, burn at a write speed of 4x when decrypter launches.

If you need it here is a detailed guide on how to re-author using shrink...

Try uninstalling DVDshrink, reboot the pc, reinstall shrink and retry the above procedure.

You don't by any chance have DVD43 installed and running while doing this?
