avi2dvd burns the iso file fine winavi burns the dvd files fine.

but then when i go to burn it to my dvd disk from the burner it seems to burn fine but when i try to play it it either skips alot or just stops playing and says cannot play dvd

please help

Give us a little more info. Where are you trying to play it, what type of media, stuff like that. It will help us narrow down the problem.

i've made them into .iso .ifo .VOB and they play fine that way on my computer before and after i burn them.

i've tried to play them on my home dvd players and cpu dvd players using windows media player, Nero showtime, and DivX player 6.0

they play for three chapters in my home dvd playes and then start skiping or just stop playing

and in the cpu dvd players they play for three chapters and say dvd cannot be played or something like that

Sounds like it is a media problem. Try using TY's/Verbatim/Sony(MIJ). Wre you multi-tasking during the burn and at what speed did you burn. Try with a good media then post if the problem still occurs.

no multi tasking no virus scanner nothing just left the computer alone.

i will try to get some different media and see if that works

i know that the drive works fine cause i can play normal dvd's in it and burn cd-r's with it

i've tried it at 8x 6x and 4x
