Im not sure but in network setting try setting the "Setup Netowork:NO"
like that.

it always says no connection for me when I trouble shoot it but if i turn of my evo x dash then i have no problem

I do not think you can play online with your xbox modded. xboxlive looks for xbox modded files on your xbox. If they find out your system has been chipped or softmodded than they will ban you from xboxlive. That might be why you cannot connect with your ms dashboard to xboxlive. either way i think they will still ban you.
Thats why i said the heck with xboxlive, i went to the free online gaming, which is called xbconnect. here is the link to the download for the software. http://www.xbconnect.com/downloads/XBCINST1.exe
Also if you do think you are going to go with xbconnect, xbconnect will not ban you at all for a modded xbox. The best part about xbconnect is that it is free. have anymore questions? just post another reply on here.

i tried xbconnect for some time and it was terrible
you get what you pay for

i can agree with that i have both xbox live and connect and live is way better its worth paying for

You are right it is worth paying all of that money for xboxlive. Xbconnect is not a very good program to use. It is very slow at loading up on the pc.

yea return is right i had a friend log on with a chip and he was banned for life, or was until we found a bypass method

What bypass method are you speaking of?
The only one I know its were you go to bungie.com and buy bungie points then do a gamertag name change and your rank follows you but the ban doesn't. Is there any easier one?
