I want to make a back-up copy of viva la bam. The complete season is on one disc. How do I do this, I am assuming that DVdShrink will work. I tried searching for a solution but didn't come up with much. Thank you in advance

You should be able to use DVD Shrink to transcode the entire disc, menus and all and burn onto a DVD-5. You can also use Reauthor mode to just backup each individual episode.

@kylemo Use a little initiative. If you think Shrink will work, try it first. Then if it doesn't, try some other combo of tools you have. Then ask for help, you'll learn a lot more from your own mistakes. And yes: as LOCOENG said, shrink should work. If it's a new release, encryption may require something like DVDFab decrypter(free) or AnyDVD(not free).
