The movie "The Bridge of San Luis Rey"
Burned using clone 2 and AnyDVD but when I played it in my player it only had the main menu.
When I pressed play movie,it went back to menu.
It seems that's all it burned, after looking at the underside of the disc. I tried burning it twice.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

@Stelman
I've never found a disc this combo couldn't back up. So let's start with are you using the latest version of AnyDVD 5.8.3.1?
Have your tried to play it back in the pc? If doing full back up are you 'unchecking' any titles? What brand of media are you using?

Yes I agree! I have never seen a disc that this combo couldn't beat.
I am up to date with MyDvd updates.
The original Disc plays fine in my PC,I always uncheck everything but the main movie.
Although at the time I am using some cheap "ESA" Discs.
However I've burned plenty of movies using these discs.
So I doubt thats the problem.

Well the 'esa' might be the problem- they're usually made by CMC - the pits. No consistency to this manufacturer except they always have problems.
Does the backup play in your pc?

I'm now sure it wasn't the "esa" discs.
Aside from burning 20 of them on movies with the same system prior to this.
I also tried a Fujifilm which has always worked as well.
Did the same thing.
So I tried one more time with "esa" again and low and behold it burned the whole thing.
I don't know what caused this. The copy process continued the whole time each. But until this last burn it didn't work.
1 out of 4. However I then burned a part 2 of the movie with no problem as well. Go figure?
Interesting though, that this movie had two complete versions I chose the one with one less chapter the last two times. Hmmmmmmm?
That doesn't seem to equate either?
Anyway thanks for your help.
While we were communicating I noticed another update come thru for AnyDVD.:)
