DVD Decryptor: Not Enough Space

I'm trying to get a DVD on my computer in IFO mode in order to convert it into the correct format for an iPod using Videora iPod Converter. Everything goes smoothly until 69% and then it gives me an error that I do not have enough disk space. I searched these forums and converted my hard drive to NTFS and I read something about Norton interfering with it but I wasn't sure about that. If someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not knowing your PC specs' it's difficult to answer; So this is all guesswork.
Try defragging your Hard drive, after that, re-boot your PC, turn off the Internet, and all running programs, firewall, anti virus etc,etc. (Norton does take up some space)

And give it another go....see what happens

oh im sorry about the specs. running windows xp sp 2, 2.2 ghz, 120 gb hd with external 300. (it didn't even work when i directed the file to the external). How do you completely quit Norton? I'm sorry if that sounds dumb but it seems it can never be completely shut off.

Are you trying to do a newer Sony or Columbia pictres release with newer copy protection that Decryptor cannot handle? You may need to have AnyDVD running in the background before using DVD Shrink (no need for DVD Decryptor), or as an alternative, rip with DVD FAB Decryptor, process with VOB Blanker, then Shrink.

LOL took the words right off my keyboard StanH1000

I've just got in from my daily hour-tow-about with my dog, read the specs' and Norton shouldn't be the problem.

I'd just take, (as I did) the simple way, and go for AnyDVD try it free for 21 days, and I think pattykins you'll agree.

So I can just use DVD Shrink to rip it off the DVD onto my drive into one VOB file, then use videora converter to convert it into a readable file for my ipod? with AnyDVD in the background?

With AnyDVD in running silently in the background, Shrink or any other program will see movie as "not protected". Therefore, you should be able to use whatever programs you have used previosly to do this task.
