I found out about all this UMD Emulator too late and bought a newer version of the PSP so i'm stuck with version 2.50. Is there any word on people finding ways to downgrade 2.5 yet?

I tried playing the GTA iso on the UMD Emulator and it didnt work. that's why I asked. Maybe it was the iso itself the was screwed up.

No, the iso is good. But GTA won't work on v1.50. So if you want to play, buy an actual UMD and upgrade psp to v2.00. Then GTA will work.
