Guys I need some help over here... I am using a LDW-411S (it sucks i know) i just got it from someone for free. I used to burn with a plextor and I got perfect results with it. I am using clonedvd and anydvd to burn stuff (newer virsions). When I back up movies and I go to play them they play fine. But in the middle of it if I were to go to the menu and select a different scene it would select it but it would keep on playing in the same spot where I stopped it to go to the menu. This happens on HP and Teon DVDs. I know these are cheap ones but I dont know if its the DVD's or the burner. I use to use Ritek dvds those worked great but I never used them on this burner. Any thoughts would be helpful.

More likely it's the media, what speeds are you burning at also ?

I just got so feed up w/ menu issues that I just do MOVIE ONLY now.

Much better results, also uses less compression that way.

If you can live without the menus do it. Am also using

CloneDVD2 & Nero Recode software only now.

I had MANY menu issues before when I was using

Intervideo DVD Copy too.
