I have been using DVD Shrink with no problem. I just reformatted my HD and reloaded Nero and DVD Shring and can't burn anything. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with a solution? I can burn through iTunes (Audio DVD). Here is my error message:

Your Nero is out of date, current is 6.6.0.18. Your firmware is up to date.

Your atapi drivers aren't loaded correctly, either that or your burner's external.

And that is not a complete burn log.

Normally the TRF error is the result of a low virtual memory setting. But your logfile did not throw the memory error. It may be worth a try increasing your virtual memory. The link below will help explain this.

http://www.avid.com/onlinesupport/supportcontent.asp?productID=97...

The TRF error relates to Nero's transfer layer components. If all else fails, uninstall Nero and clean with Nero cleaner then reinstall. Make sure any AnitVirus software is off during the installation process.

I didn't see that trf error. To adjust virtual memory go to control panel>then to system>under the advanced tab of system click on teh settings tab of preformance>under the advance tab of preformance is where you adjust virtual memory. The virtual memory should be higher than the memory you have, RAM.

I think 6614 has broken the burn with option in shrink. If you are using that option try shrinking to hdd. Then use Nero to burn from the folder.

He stated that this new ver. may not be able to integrate with Shrink anymore. Rip to your HDD with Shrink and then manually burn that file with Nero.

Do I burn it as a data DVD in Nero, or better yet, should I reinstall Nero and NOT update it??

If that is true, the 6614 thing, then you should update, I'm running 6618 and it's burning with Nero just fine. And you just burn it as a DVD video file.
