Why don't you just skip using Decrypter?
Put in your movie.
Open Shrink.
Select Open Disc.
Shrink analyzes, then all the movie titles will be displayed on the left.
Do not select Reauthor unless you want to get rid of the menus and extras.
Remove unneeded Audio and Subtitle streams.
Select Backup!.
Putting an entire movie on a single layer disc leads to excessive compression. Sometimes the movie will still be to big to fit. You will have red showing in Shrink's size bar. In that case you should Reauthor to record the movie only, split the movie into two discs or use double layer media. Sometimes excessive compression will lead to strange behavior when you try to use the menus. I never record the extras and menus but some folks want the entire thing.
In most cases Shrink does not need Decrypter. However, when you do run across a movie that Shrink can't do by itself, then you really should use DVDFab Decrypter or AnyDVD. These programs can handle the newer protection schemes that Shrink or Decrypter cannot.
If you really want to use Decrypter then you don't want to touch any files in the screen on the right. This screen shows all the movie files and you need all of them for a complete, working movie.
If you want to edit your movie, do that later with Shrink in the Reauthor mode.
Decrypter-file mode is simple:
Put in your movie.
Select Mode > File.
Select the source (The drive your movie is in).
Select the Destination (A folder on your HDD).
Select the Decrypter "Go" button.
Wait for the Decrypter jingle.
