Setting Drive Region?

When I click open file, DVD shrink asks me to select a correct drive region and gives me several choices (Australia, North America, Western Europe, China, etc.). None of these work, and the program will not proceed? Any ideas?

This could be happening because your drive's region hasn't been set. To set the region goto:

my computer
locate your drive, right click on it and choose properties
click on the Hardware tab
locate and highlight your drive, then click properties
click on the DVDregion tab
select the region your drive will be playing DVDs in
press ok
done.

Run shrink and goto-->edit-->preferences-->Files I/O tab
here make sure you have the "check RPC2 drive region code when opening a DVD" box checked.

When backing up make sure you make the backup region free (this will be one of the choices when you press the backup tab in shrink)
