hello all, I am new to the swap magic scene and I have some questions to anyone with answers...
I recently bought the sap magic 3.6 set with a slide card for my v9 ps2. I have 8 dvd based games that won't boot and 1 cd game.
They are as follows:
Fatal Frame(cd r)
Tony Hawks American Wasteland (dvd)
Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner
Arc the LAd: End of Darkness
DragonBall Z Budokai 2 and 3
Kingdom Hearts
Fatal Frame 2
Megaman Anniversary collection

I downloaded DVD and CD loader and burnt them off, i'm not quite sure how to use them this is the method I used to boot them on my ps2:
1. I loaded swap magic
2. I swaped it out for dvd loader
3. I ejected the dvd loader and put my swap magic disk back in and pressed X
4. I got a message saying "use EA method to swap disk" so I used my slide card to swap out my swap magic disk for one of my games ie. fatal frame 2 (dvd) and pressed X
5. I got a message saying "invalid disk"

Any suggestions please post me back....

some games need to be patched especially if they are over 4.35g in size. That is, swap magic can't load back ups which are larger than 4.35g. For a list of games that need to be patched go to www.swapmagicfix.com.

Use Zoneloader rather than DVD/CD Loader.

http://www.ps2nfo.com/modules.php?name=News&file=showarticle&thre...

DVD/CD Loader didn't help my problem games at all. But Zoneloader worked great.

Can anyone confirm whether they've ever had DVD/CD Loader fix a booting prob at all?!!
