Hi,
I am still new to PSP and still getting used to it. I have bought some albums from the iTunes shop and was unable to load them up into my PSP. I am Macintosh user OS X 10.3.9 and use PSPWare to sync up Playlists. My PSP firmware is 2.5.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Ok,
iTunes downloads in AAC, which is completely OK because when I import a CD into iTunes, I import it in AAC. And I can easily hear them in my PSP. But, when I tried syncing the plalists I had created, the playlists did not appear in my PSP! So here is what I tried to do.
At first, I tried converting the downloaded songs into MP3, and I got a message telling me that iTunes songs are protected and cannot be converted. So then I went ahead and burned the playlists on a CD, and then imported the CDs in MP3, and then created a new MP3 playlist and then I was able to sync them up with my PSP!
That was quite a process! I was wondering if there is a quicker way to do all this!

Thanks again.

Theres a program which has been released but i think it costs $$
Quote:
For iPod users, PSP Music Studio also works alongside iTunes, allowing AAC or MP3 tracks to be "dragged and dropped" from iTunes into the PSP Music Studio and your PSP. It will automatically change the extension of your iTunes AAC tracks from M4A to MP4 for seamless transfer to PSP.

From this it says that the program just changess the extension doesnt say it converts maybe you could try changing the file extensions. Sorry if i couldnt help you.

When i used iTUNES it never worked, so i went to the only thing that i knew of that was fast and easy to use. I got sonicstage, then imported tracks that way you can put the music dierectly to the psp. plus when you rip music, or if you buy an album, you get it in an MP3 format.

plus its free!;)
