Newbie here! Downloaded a game, it left me with a 20 files x-xxx2.001,.002,.003, etc. What are the steps I need to take to play this game on my PSP? I downloaded WinRar trying to extract the ISO from the files but don't know what I'm doing and couldn't find it. Any help or links to help would be GREAT!
use a program such as 'isobuster' to extract the files. . .
after installing and running the program:
launch the .iso (.nfo .cue wutev) with isobuster and from there right click the file and extract. I'm sure some 'pro' could tell you an easier process to do this but the directions above worked for me. ^_^
With the WinRAR, right click on the x-xxx2.001 the choose to open. The WinRAR window will pop up. Then select extract -> choose location to extract -> click OK. That is it.
Do I need to extract an ISO from all 20 files or just the first one? If so, how do I know which ISO to use and if not what are all those files for? I tried loading the ISO from the first file x-xxx2.001 and my PSP froze. Thanks all for your help!
Unrar them using WinRAR, and it should have an ISO file in it, if it doesn't (which it should) and has UMD_DATA and PSP_GAME (or something like that) get UmDGEN 1.00 (do not get 1.01) and follow the instructions.
