I have searched this site for awhile but am having trouble finding my infomation. Im sorry if this is a question that has been answered before. I recently installed a flip top and it works perfect. It loads my original ps2 cd/dvd games fine, it loads a Snes Station cd fine, and it loads dvd movies fine. I have installed the mc exploit and it is running good. My problem is that it will not read my backed up dvd games. It will run a backed up cd ps2 game. I have tried changing the angle of the laser and cleaning the laser and i still have not had any luck. Someone mentioned that i would have to change my laser. I have looked into that and if thats the case i might just be better off purchasing an hd becuase a laser is like $50. If anyone can come up with any ideas or has any opinion on a good place to buy a laser (if its needed) please let me know. I have tried copying two dvd games and both get same result it just spins (spins first kinda fast then slows to a stop and then repeats) in cogswap and cd loader with no response. Thanks for any help.

Have you rebuilt either game? A lot of newer games need a rebuild before they will boot after a swap. Secondly, you need to use a higher TOC sized game to boot the burned game. You should scan all of your original games and determine which one is the largest in size. You should then boot cogswap off of your exploit and put in that game, press "X" and wait for the disc to turn purple, swap and then press "X" again to boot the game. I hope this helps!

You are my hero. My problem was that i was using syphon filter as a trigger disc and i was using that disc to boot to a ps2 dvd. Once i changed it to Socom 2 for my first disc it booted the dvd fine. My prob was the larger TOC. Thank you soo much
