Are these disc waterproof? Anyone know?
Also which one (white or silver) produces vibrant colors?

Ink jet printable or thermal printables?
Regular or Full hub?
I know the white ink jet white printable are not water proof. Some peeps spray krylon or other clearcoats on them. I just keep them nice and dry.
I just ordered my first batch of shiny ink jet printable yesterday and I'd guess they are not waterproof either.
I currently use the full hub verbatim and maxell +8x inkjet white printables. These look great on the darker disc covers, but the lighter ones not so fortunant. I've seen many of those shiny inkjet printables in alkyhol's sig and they look very good.
After these silver shiny inkjets and full hub white's,I also use lightscribe media so I'll have 3 options to choose from when it comes to disc covers.I'm expecting good results with those shiny's!

You guys got to try the ty silver inkjet. I call the look a 3d/halographic. Blade 3 on these - with the red & black looks too cool. The only problem is they do not have hub printable ones - that I can find at least.

i personally PREFER the silver inkjets over the white printable ones by Taiyo Yuden...
yes, the only compromise is, the silver ARE NOT hub printable, whereas the white TY inkjet printables ARE to the HUB~ :)
i don't think they are "waterproof" luckEpenE, but given enough drying time, they are somewhat "water-resistant"...but, def. not "waterproof" :)
in terms of the "look" on them, i feel that the white printables offer the more "vibrant" colors, but the silver have that 3d-holographic look that binkie was speaking of...personal preference again...i think the holographic look is very kool~ :)

I have the r320 also. My settings for the TY silver inkjet are 42 x 119. Try em you'll like them! A little more than the white hub printable ones but worth it.

while i am not familiar at all with your particular make and model of burner...the quality score should not be that low on genuine TY media...perhaps someone more familiar with your burner and it's appropriate firmware revision can help you out a bit... :)
