Okay so I have the King Kong screener right, plays perfectly fine in DVD players (LG, Samsung, Sony), however I've now tried two systems (P4 D, P3 with WinXP-SP2) which coincidently both have an LG ± burner (different drive models, GSA-4163B fw/a106, GSA-4167B) and both say the "Disc is blank" from DVD Decrypter, Nero 7, AnyDVD, DVD Fab, for fun I set DVD Decrypter to ISO Write mode and now it says ?Disc Not Empty? (WTF). Strangely enough both of the systems will NOT play the disc from PowerDVD for example. So I?m at work and I put the same disc in a G5 Mac and it plays (but since I'm not Mac savvy) I don't know how to RIP it on the Mac and I do need to return this disc? any help would be appreciated.

did you encode the movie from dvix to dvd or what (you probley got it as a bit torrent file ) right?

I have no clue where it originally came from, I just borrowed it & can't figure out why I can't take a rip of the damn disc...

we would have to see the IFO files on the disc to tell you more, sorry.

so you are saying that your system will not read the disk? if the programs like any dvd are on sometimes it will fool the system that there is no disk, and when you said that you mac at work will read it there might be a problem with the codec so i would search the net and get a codec pack most of the times you can find them for free and install, them and you might try copying the disk to your hd or get the person that you got the disk from and have them burn you a disk ok?
