Anyone else having problems with Bambi 2? Am using latest version of AnyDVD and Nero 2 and keep getting "out of memory" error.

I am using the latest (01/30/06) download from DVDFabdecrypter => also ran VobBlanker (just in case) => then use Shrink and burnt with Nero Express, copy works good.

After failing with AnyDVD with Nero then again with AnyDVD and Shrink, I resorted to DVD Fab Decrypter and then Nero to shrink, encode, and burn...
Just wondering if anybody could get it to rip with AnyDVD?

i need help with bambi 2, i have no idea what to do with vobblanker what goes in the input and output files and what do i do after that it's probably real simple but i am brand new at this and need help???

I didn't use VOB Blanker. I used DVD Fab Decrypter which is a freeware that can be downloaded from the Software Section. The freeware version only lets you rip the complete movie and it does not shrink or compress. Use Nero or DVD Shrink to compress/shrink and then use your burning software of choice (I used Nero Recode to do that)

okay i used dvd fab decrypter to decrypt it now what i have Nero and shrink but i can't get it to go through to shrink i get an error

Try opening up the DVD Fab Decrypter file with Nero recode. That is what worked for me....

i don't think i have recode program on my Nero but why is it it won't work in shrink??? any alternative????

I can only tell you what worked for me. I couldn't get Shrink to work either, but Nero Recode did. CHODAMAN used VobBlanker before running Shrink but I am not familiar with Vobblanker. Maybe he or someone else with more knowledge on that can help....

Just good info: Bambi 2 is very easy with CloneDVD 2 & AnyDVD, latest version. No problem at all.
Use The Best Media for The Best Burns! TYs, Verbs,(Made in Taiwan) Sony MIJs (YUDEN000 T02), Sony Made in Taiwan DVD+R 16x, Maxell MIJ, RITEK G05.

For Bambi 2 I used DVD Decrypter and Penacle Instant Copy. It worked fine (would have used shrink, but my Nero 7 is down, and my computer reboots or errors everytime I try to use it). I'm about ready to give up and go back to Nero 6, it was working just fine.
Reality is an illusion and subject to interpretation.

Thanks for bringing to my attention that you had successfully ripped Bambi2 with AnyDVD and CloneDVD. My first two attempts with those programs were unsuccessful..So I succeeded with other programs.
After you said you did it with AnyDVD and CloneDVD I tried again and found that I had been victim of the greatest problem facing us all--"operator failure"...oh, me!!!! AnyDVD and CloneDVD did rip it flawlessly...
My lesson learned: Learn from your mistakes and never jump to conclusions...

I got the same error message that I was out of virtual memory while trying to rip Bambi 2 with shrink. I did as Laboy instructed with fab decrypter and Nero. Worked like a dream, thanks oodles!!

clonedvd2 with Anydvd in the backround did it all in a under 15min. Thanks for the up and up on Anydvd. worked for Flightplan too. Ohh and also a clue if you see a little Tv on the back of the dvd with the letters SDH in it, you will have the same issue with those dvds as well.

I downloaded Bambi 2 over the weekend. No problem there. I am using dvdSanta to convert to DVD. I get an error. How do I decrypt the AVI file in order to convert to DVD. I need specific step by step help. I am a newbie.
