@360dude
Nope to print on the disc you need one the the epson r series that thelox714 listed above to print to dvd/cd. They have a special tray to use. Outside the US Canon sells one also.
If your talking about putting paper labels on a disc I wouldn't advise it. Can cause playback issues - skipping, freezing etc.

Either that or look for sales at Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot. They're getting pretty cheap. Plus shipping on ebay for a printer - that may be a bit much - don't know.

Throw in Sams club along with those stores that Binkie7 posted. Staple's does have a lot of specials on those epsons. It depends on all the bells and whistles you want on it. A basic r-200/r-220 may run from $50 to $100. Staples usually have the R-340 for $140 after rebate. The 300 series have a card reader and view screen.

What I love about my r-200,i purchase my ink cartridges at private.abacus for under $19 for a set of 6 ink carts. Try getting a set at walmart/OD/or Best buy.They'll run about $60 a set.

The quality Printable inkjet media does cost a little more,but well worth it. 40 to 70 cents each-depending if you buy them locally or on the web.The plus format does run higher on the net for some unknown reason.

Lightscribes are about a buck apiece,when on sale.
