Am using CloneDVD2 with AnyDVD. I have been trying to find a way to take 2 iso files (making 1 for "side A" & another for "Side B), and putting them together in a single iso file and then burn it to a single DL disc. I am wanting to put "Goodfellas" on a single DL disc. I can't find a way that CloneDVD2 will let me enter more than 1 file when using the "Write Using Existing Data" option. I even tried using DVD Decryptor for each side (all files), then attempted to add the files from side B to side A, thus coming up with 1 file (DVDfiles). I then ran it thru CloneDVD2 using the "Write Using Existing Data" option with the output to be a single iso file. The process ran, but ended up with only side A in the iso file. So, it appears that if I could get the right files from side B moved into the Side A listing, it might work doing it this way? Seems that all movies have certain files that are needed to make them run, with me the thing is, with these duplicate files on each side, I don't know how to take the ones from side B and change them into a working format so that they don't have to "overwrite" the same named files that are needed to make side A complete? Has anyone else messed with this situation that could offer me some help?

CloneDVD2 does not have a 'merge feature', it is on my wishlist but so far they have not updated CloneDVD2 to include this and other desirable improvements. Don't get me wrong CloneDVD2 is great, I bought it (and AnyDVD) but it could use some improvement.

You can however use DVD Shrink (I know, old, no longer updated and free) to do what you want. In the 'guides' section of this site is some very useful information, see in particular;

PS; BTW I have done exactly what you are trying to do with my copy of 'Goodfellas'.

regards

Thanks for the tip.. at least it sounds like it isn't just something that I wasn't doing. Purchased both CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD. Since then, I seldom use anything else....... haven't needed to! Keeping things current, I haven't come across anything that couldn't be backed up using this combo. CloneDVD2 will write to a DL with no problem IF a single iso file is designated as the "source" file. I"m with you..... sure would like to see this product incorporate a "merge" function.
