I read some other posts, but my problem is different from the "green Screen" problem others are having. I tried Decrypter, it crashed early in the ripping process (not unexpected with newer films). I then used DVDFab Decrypter followed by Shrink. Shrink opens it just fine, but shows the file size as way too big to process (ie about half the size bar is red). Compression shows as 92% and won't allow adjusting to lower number to allow the 6.something gig film to shrink. I tried reauthoring, but it does the same thing. I then tried Vobblanker on the files from the DVDFab rip, followed by Shrink again on the Vobblanker output file. Again I have the same size issue. Why can't I get it to allow Shrink to compress? I don't have AnyDVD, though I probably should fork out the money to buy it as it appears to be very useful to many of you, but for now can someone help me without the use of AnyDVD?

Remove any instances of DVDFab Decrypter from your system and reinstall the latest version from here: http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

Then retry with DVD Shrink.

Thanks. Reinstalling DVDFab and rerunning with Shrink worked. Not sure why DVDFab had caused a problem as I had updated it over the weekend already.

@pariah

Glad you got it to work. If you have any versions of DVDFab Decrypter already installed on your PC you must remove them before updating or the update will not take...go figure.

Happy burning.
