Best software to copy DVD Movies?

Hello friends!

Which do you guys think is the best software to copy DVD movies. Ofcourse the software should support custom compression with minimum quality loss. A facility to create menus would be like icing on the cake...

I just started using AnyDVD and CloneDVD and they work great so far.

AnyDVD and CloneDVD are nice because AnyDVD will automatically "decrypt" a DVD in the background in no time at all. Then you can use CloneDVD to do everything else in one program. It only takes me about 25 minutes for the whole process! The only downside is the programs are not free (21 day free trial). Also, AnyDVD is good about staying up to date on the latest protection methods. I haven't had a disc yet it wouldn't copy.

i prefer dvd_rebuilder using CCE, it takes a while to configure as well as a much longer encoding time, but to me its well worth it

There are a number of "good" programs and combinations of programs. You should try a number of these and decide which one(s)work best for your particular needs.

The ones i like and work well are
Dvdfabdecryptor updated when the need arises free
Nero recode2 from the developer of Shrink ( find it quicker than DvdS
Dvd Decryptor 95% of the time free
Dvd Shrink ( if Nero Recode 2 n/a )
