Anyone heard any truth to the rumor that there is now a 2.5/2.6 downgrader?
... oh, and I see our main man Sudds no longer has a PSP?!?! what are we going to do?

want to hear something sad? I actually kind of like 2.6... I can play all my games, use rss feeds, browse, play SNES games, blah, blah, blah... Anyway I'm going to have to really think about this one.
Anyway, Thanks to everyone, especially sudds, for all the great info and help with my albatross of a 2.6.

I hear ya niggles! I did miss my 2.60 and all that went with it, but on 1.50 you can emulate 2.60 so dont worry mate! DOWNGRADE! ;)

i used the stuff you mentioned in like your first thread....if you got a better method please hook me up...if you would be so kind please e-mail me the instructions on all the stuff i need to do and get... i would be most appreciative...and wish me luck cuz my rap group that i produce beats for is performing tonight in CT in New Haven at Toad's Place with a rap legend Talib Kweli...

So guys can I upgrade now to version 2.6 and play all my 2.6 games and when I feel like playing my Roms and UMD loader games I just run the downgrader?
Would that be the best way? Right now I have v1.5 and it kills me not able to play some of the new release games..

Yeah you could mate, but can you not replace the PRX files on 2.60 games with 2.50 PRX files...

hey i got that bock like you said...the snes file you said and i'm trying to run final fantasy III.this is a 7Z file...whatever that means

7Z files are compressed files.
Use WinRAR or WinZIP to decompress them

It could be that you have loaded up Snes Kernal emulator, use one of the suggested emu,s from the first page of this thread. They are user emus and are compatible with eloader.
Do you have EMENU installed?

this is what i have... 2.6 psp...ebock eloader...uo_Snes9x_002y32...and final fantasy III un packed...after everything is installed exactly like you describe i load GTA then load EBOCK... after i load EBOCK i load uo_Snes9x_002y32... i try to find my game and cannot...does this game work...?or do i need to put something somewhere?hahahahahaha....i got it...now how do i quit my game?without frezing psp?

i just wanna say to whoever made all of these emu's and hacks and whatever else possible on the PSP I really wanna say thank you...I have been waiting for the day I can finally play final fantasy III on the go... It's just a damn shame nintendo is taking so long to do so for their hardware... but anyways you guys made a dream come true for me...again thank you...

Press either the left directional button or push the analog button to the left, this brings you to the settings here you will find an option to quit, select this and it will bring you back to the eloader menu.

It shouldnt freeze, but its running in User mode it can at times crash, have you installed the EMENU?
