Right now i have version 1.5 on my psp, but when i look at the system settings it says v2.0, but i know i don't have 2.0 b/c i run homebrews and i can't play GTA. So i wanted to update to 2.0, but when i put in GTA it says that i already have that version(2.0). So i formatted my memory stick and it still says v2.0. Then i tryed downgrading but is says that i already have that version installed also. So, I don't know if I have 2.0 or 1.5 but I am confused and i really need help getting my psp back to 1.5. I even tryed using the MPHDowngrader but i can't view the tif file on my psp becasue i have v1.5(and beacuse it is a "virus").
If anybody can help me please HELP.
P.S.: i need to get it back to v1.5

Go to restore default settings, try that if that doesnt work youll need to use PSPset or wab version changer to change your firmware back to 1.5, because i think sum1 has tricked your psp firmware to 2.0
you can get pspset here http://www.psp-hacks.com/2005/09/20/pspset-v08-released/
PS if your psp runs fastloader and plays isos youve got a 1.5

Also if you have an internet browser on your home page menu on the psp, its version 2.0. (And wallpaper change feature in settings)

the only hard part of that was that somehow after i turned off my psp the background changed to white so i couldn't see the lettering the next time i turned it on.
But thanks for the PSPset link

I hope its back to normal, otherwise just use pspset again and follow its instructions(readme file) to change your background if you have trouble we'll be here.

The background was white before i put PSPset on it so i had to remember exactly were the usb mode icon was and i had to find the PSPset icon b/c the icons were white too, which made it really hard to do.
