i modded my xbox and my mods didnt work so i deleted linux off my xbox hopeing it would get rid of everything, but it didnt and now i cant get back to ms dashboard or get on xbox live. Im stuck in evox dash. Are the any other ways to get back to ms dashboard?

well did u use softmod or hardmod, if u softmodded your xbox, it is going to be more difficutlt to get your files back, but it can be done, if it is a harmod with a modchip it will be easier, report back and let us know which one you have

No...dont listen to these guys please. I'm sorry guys...you are just making it more difficult. You can get on live...there are tutorials if you really need it. But if you want all your shit back, I would download AID 2.11 and you can install your ms dash again, XBMC, emulators, and many more apps with it. If you would like more info on it, try this: http://www.se7ensins.com/index.php?showtopic=195 Thats a tutorial for AID. Then once you install the ms dash, you can add your linux files again and if you follow instructions properly...I hope it said to make a ms backup, yo ucould just go thru the linux installer again and restore ms backup. :D I hope this was informative for you ;)

Don't call me a dumbass before you hear the reason smart one. You said "Can you still ftp to xbox from pc? if so, ftp M$ dashboard to root of C drive." Which if he does, THINGS COULD GO WRONG! So don't be all offensive and call me names like a lil child. I was only trying to make it less confusing instead of saying, DONT DO THIS ONE PART OF WHAT HE SAID BUT DO THIS OTHER PART. So I just explained it more in depth for him. So stop being IMMATURE when the reason we are posting is to help someone. I was just trying to create less confusion.

@sheley, I think you might need a blank dvd for AID. I dont know how big the original file is w/o any extras put on it. But, I used a dvd and put the 2 gig dummy file on it so the xbox would read it.
