Please now im talking seriously, so this is what happened, i left my charger at my mums house for my psp, when i come home the battery has died, so as i left my charger at mums house, i tried to charge the psp,with them AC adaptors that have many different connecters, this didnt work. OK, next day i get my real AC adaptor back, and i go to charge my psp, and its not charging, nothing comes on, i have tryed different batterys, and chargers from my freiinds psp, so its nothing like that, im thinking its the DC power input jack, i think its messed up, were can i get a repair of this, or how can i fix it, PLEASE this is serious. Thanks for looking.

Sounds as if your psp is ****ed u shoudnt use any other charger (unless it has the same specs)on your psp. Now i hope to jaysus its still under warranty if it is dont tell sony that u used a different charger, let us know how u get on.

I think you did burn something in the psp with AC adaptors. I hope that you blow up the fuse insdise. I think you should send it for services and repair.

oh my god, its not under warranty, but im sure theres a way i can go to fix it, the psp turns on and works, but it just don't charge, i think if i go to them bootleg corner shops, that fix anything, i think they mite be able to, what do you think?

PSP still work that is a good news. PSP's battery may be damaged or loose connection somewhere. If you know how to open psp and check it up, that would be great. You can bring it the shop for check up and replace battery too.

ive tryed the same bettery in my freinds psp, and it worked, it charged the same battery in my freinds psp, and it works, so it not the battery or the charger, i no this for a fact, the psp works perfecly, just don't charge, how do i open it please tell me i will try, i have got the correct screw drivers anyways, please reply.

Ofcouse, I dont want you to break your psp. And you dont want to break it either. If you try to open without knowing it, That is a risk. Give me a little time to search for a guide to open your psp.

I google for a guide to open psp, but there is NO guide or faq at all. I end up to email to Sony PSP tech support about this. And this is what they email me back

OK, i just foned sony, the woman said that i CAN get an exchange but it will theres a 2% change it being anything under 2.01, do you think i should do it?, or just keep it n try and fix it some where. please reply thanks

That is a good backup round. 2% charge is around $25. That is not too bad. I suggest that you should not open your psp. If you open it, they may not let you to exchange.
I dont know if there is any other way to fix it.
