Im sorry for this noob question maybe, But i have swap magic 3.6 and magic keys 2 and a new ntsc game(sf anniversary)

When i boot the cd it says no valid ps2 disc. it doesnt matter wether i use the cd or dvd loader, it says every time no valid disc.

What the @#@#%! am i doing wrong??
Forgive me if it is a too big of a noob question, but i just dont know.

Yes it does matter what disc you are booting.

If your booting cd disc, you need cd swap disc. If your booting dvd then you need dvd swap.

If all fail then your disc is bad or didnt burn corrently.

not to be rude, but thats kinda obvious. booting with cd or dvd disk. as far as the error, it seems to have happen to me on several dif games or movies. all booting with the dvd disk.

what media did you use? and also you can't boot a dvd with swap magic.

tdk DVD+R....i have never had to boot a dvd from swap magic. origional or not. usually use Nero vision or DVD Decrypter to burn.

I thought there is two swap disc, DVD and Cd. its been awhile since I had them.

there is dvd and cd boot disk, myself, i have never used the cd boot disk. i dont even know what i would boot with that.... anyone know?????????? maybe i could use it for something else.. could i boot like, DivX or AVI with that disk?

well, like i said, the games is an original US. i havent made any backups

I tried loading it on my PAL ps2(yes with the dvd swap magic 3.6)
it keeps saying invalid disc, this sucks mighty ass(and thats nasty:)
since it is listed in the working list i dont understand.

Not to be off-topic or anything, but quite a few games are CDs, and more common (and very important) are the utilities such as the DNAS and BIOS tool.

If your PS2 cannot play your backups, and you've already modded it, then try banging at the wall 7 times. It will have a 1/1,000,000 chance of playing them.
