DVD43 does not play well with AnyDVD, dvdfab decrypter or DVD Decrypter.
If it's not running it can still cause problems. Uninstall it - you have AnyDVD which is much better anyhow. If that didn't cause the problem well like Soulreave said more details are needed. Especially error received or what failing.
Alos trying cleaning of the disc.

i only tried DVD43 after all had failed. i uninstalled AnyDVD before installing 43.
i have tried on the fly with AnyDVD and Nero express.
dvd decrypter will not even begin, it says to check condition of disk(this is the third disk i have tried with it) with AnyDVD my drive (plextor 740a flashed to a benq dw1640) will not even recognize it for about ten minutes and then it will tell me to designate my drive to a certain region.(it is on region 1)
I get the same message with my liteon 832s. I have tried reflashing my drive back but it still will not work. if AnyDVD is running than i cannot watch the movie even. works fine with AnyDVD not running.

it is a sony release and im wondering if it is a new protection? i have been burning for about a two years and have always got the movie eventually--not this time.
i turned to you, i follow afterdawn for a long time just never post anything.
let me know your thoughts

AnyDVD is the best out there - are you using the latest version - 5.8.4.1? I think it could be a bad disc also.
Here's 2 guides by alkohol that may work for you:
