Sorry if this has been asked before, searching hasn't found anything.
Right i have jus bought another psp with v2.0 which once i get it i will downgrade to run homebrew properly with full access.
However i own GTA:LCS & Pro Evo original UMDs and was wondering if they would work on a psp running v1.5, or how to run if possible.
& if not is there a list somewhere of the games that don't, this because i intend to sell my other psp which is running v2.5.
& if they won't play does this mean i need to keep both psps jus to homebrew on 1 & new umd games on the other.
Both GTA and Prov Evo will run if you have 2.0 firmware therefore you can just upgrade to play these UMDs and downgrade when youve finished playing, keep the 32mb memory stik as a downgrader then everything u need to upgrade/downgrade will be with you wherever.
I cant guarantee that it wont brick i can tell you ive upgraded and downgraded over 40 times 46 to be exact, my psp is still playing like new.
The new new games like sf3 alpha wont work on 2.0 ur right and any newer games prob wont work either.
So you have to choose keep both psps and youll be guaranteed to play anything that comes out, if iwas in your position i probably would. You could always sell it l8r.
Guess i'm gonna keep both then i guess, but heard something about WAB version changer that will trick psp to thinking it is running 2.5 any1 esle know anymore about this?
