Has anyone run into this problem? I have been backing up my DVD's for a while with know problem. Now for some reason after about 30% of the encoding my computer freezes. My firmware is update, and I have Anydvd running in the back ground. I start out using DVDfab Express and then DVD shrink. The movies are, Two for the money, Elizabeth Town, and Wedding Crasher. I've tried several times with each dvd. Any ideas?

did you see the little boy swinging on them chech your hd to see if you have a free space to encord the movies. if so try defriging it.. i copied wedding crashers the only ting i had i used shink at frist and seem a little boy swinning.. then frozze up with shrink.. then i used smart ripper with dvd43.. don't know if this helps

You should be able to do the titles you mentioned with the programs you have, make sure you are using the most up to date versions of each. If you can get the files to your HDD try running them through VobBlanker.

Then run through DVD Shrink as usual.
