PSP v2.50 and ISO's

I have a PSP that has FW v2.50 on it, and I was looking at using ISO's and using UMDEmulator v0.8c to launch them, but have read all the posts in other threads that it will only work in FW v1.50. I also have read that there is no way to downgrade the FW to v1.50 from v2.50 without making the PSP a brick.

Is this all true? And is there a possible way that someone has found a ISO Emulator to work on FW v2.50+?

Yes, only v1.50 plays iso. No downgrader for v2.01 and above.
However you can play emulators on v2.50

Just for my knowledge.. being able to play an emulator on v2.50 will do what. (just learning this)

Emulators would be like Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, etc. The emulator emulates the game system and lets you run that game systems games on the PSP.
