alright everybody i am a hardcore modder done everything from basic soft mod to 8 Hdd switch attached to a softmodded box it works nicely
but there is one simple thing i can not get my head around.
i go to many fourms on many diffrent site and every one says in order to soft mod your xbox u MUST USE mechassult or the 007 game.
but i jsut want to make it very clear to every one i don't have those games the only way i coudl softmod is wit ha exploit comapatiable game and well ya know what
SPLINTER CELL
yes thats right neglected by every one the msot efficent and easiest to you of all the rest and not one person including linux xbox project web site mention it.
you can't find the exploit anywhere so i was wondering why is it that no one thinks of this poor forgotten game i mean its the easiest by far to get your hands on a copy of it.
i know i know it has to be the original disc no live features and ll that lovley stuff and well ya know what in the past 6 months i have bought a total of 19 copys of this one game i only keep 2 (master and backup) but i have sold the others for a good 500$ a part when only buying them from EB games for about 11.99 canadian
come on people open your eyes don't fluster over those other two games go after the one that is most easiest to get think with your head people and ya know what if ya open your eyes to ya might learn not to neglect the best of the three being the easiest to get and run the exploits
well thats my rant for next couple days anyone wanna reflect my thoughts with my feel free to reply i will surley talk about it with you

yeh im sure splinter cell would work well but i chose the mechassault method. the reason being is mechassault was for sale used for only 5.99. It also was easy to use the auto installer. and even like you said more people talk about it so that means resources for this game and instructions about using it would be easier to obtain.
that was the reason i used mechassault. and sure Xeran i will help you ftp. whats your problem?

I UNDERSTAND WHAT U MEAN ABOUT MECH HAVING MORE RESOURCES BUT SPLINTER IS EASY TO FIND AND I AM HERE TO HELP ANYONE WHO NEEDS THE EXPLOIT FILES AND WHAT EVER ELSE THEY NEED

Spinter cell is all I use. YOu do not have to have the right copy ( i.e. platinum or standard)

Sorry tocool4u, I have used 2 diffrent copys of the platinum splinter cell to soft mod xboxs with. Sorry if I did not make my self clear in my earlier post.

yeah philmccan is right i used the platnum and it works as well its jsut harder to find that exploit for that version
but even so its really not hard to find the original comapred to the others

You can use any exploit that was made for spinter cell. There is not a specific exploit for the platinum version. You can get the exploits in the usual places.

that is not entirely true i have a splinter exploit that works original and not the platnium and another that is the oppisite i do have one that uses both but it is harder to find out of the to
