Anyone know why my burnt copies of the cave won't play the Main movie?The back up copy seems to cycle through the titles and chapters of the movie.The only portions that play are the bonus features,seems like the main movies is missing.I don't know why because I did a full back up.

Well this one has some funky stif on it so you probably need to rerip and burn again. Don't know what method/progs you used but rip w/ dvdfab decrypter then open the files in shrink and process as usual.

Another good combo that's work -not free but has a 21 day free trial - is AnyDVD and CloneDVD.

Your best bet is to re rip this and run thru fab decrypter. If you can't do you still have the video_ts folder for this movie on your hd? Or put your copy in the pc - does it show a size of 4.3 gig?

The Cave has the new ARccOS, so you'll need the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter or VobBlanker to resolve the issue. Or you can just search for my thread "The answer to THE CAVE..." in this forum.

Here is a new guide that I've made, just follow this guide carefully and you'll be free of misery.

Here http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/271 -- it's called "To backup any dvds with DVD Decrypter, PSL plugins + FixVTS, VobBlanker and Nero Recode 2 by Alkohol". This is possibly one of the best method ever to successfully rip and backup any dvds/movies, regardless if it's RipGuard or ARccOS.
