can any one please get me a machine id and link id for a ps2 scph 70006 ntcs/uc and some one also told that the id cannot be be changed for versions 8 and above of the ps2, is this true

yes it's true, you need version 7 and below (inclusive) to change the ID.

I am also in need of a machine id and link id from an ntsc/uc console, for my PAL scph-30004.. thanks in advance!
