I'm very new to this board and backed up over 200 of my movies after buying my new comp.i came across some of my older movies like "dragon slayer" and my dvd drive did not want to read the movie and i just thought it was the movie that was just old, but after finally finding out how to update my driver the movie worked!!! just wanted to share this with people that even if your comp or drive is new you should still update it.

i went to this site http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?dlc=en&t... because i have a compaq and just followed the instructions.took a while to figure it out because you have to just burn the image file but i'm a retart so after that it was easy. it's still wierd cause now all my dvd's are reading so much faster and better. my upload times are faster and the mb quality on all of them are at 100%
