Ok I could not find a better spot to put this so i decided to put it here. One question, is there a way that i could burn my dreamcast games without a mod chip or hardware modification?
BURN as in you have image's of dreamcast games and want to play them on your original dreamcast? Yes you may, make sure the image is a SELFBOOT image just burn it the proper way.
CDI and MDS/MDF
Open up Alcohol 120% and select 'Image Burning Wizard' on the left.
Click 'Browse' and navigate to either your CDI or MDS image. Open your image and click 'Next'.
Again, select your write speed and select 'RAW DAO' as your Write Method and click 'Start'. Your DC game will be ready in a few minutes.
Alright, the only dreamcast models that will play burned games, are model 1, and you can tell because there is a sticker on the bottom of the dreamcast and it will either have the number 1 or 2, right by the untsc (or whatever it's called).
Second, most games are now self-boot, so you didn't really need to burn a boot disk in order to play, unless if it says on some torrents or something that says "needs boot disk" or something like that.

NO, YOU CAN NOT BACK UP ORIGINAL DC GAMES DIRECTLY WITH A P.C.
P.S. If your image is not a SELFBOOT game burn it (I don't know that one, sorry) and ten start it up with the Utopia disc in my signature.
Is yours a "0" or "2"? If so you may need to play only non SELFBOOT games which are very hard to find now that there is non SELFBOOT to SELFBOOT translation
