Ok, I moded my XBOX (v1.6) with a Spiderchip, flashed the bios (evolutionx), copied the file to my PC, put in the new HD. now i can't write to the new xbox harddrive.

used this tutorial:

when i use FLASHXP or IPSWITCH have the following attrib on the xbox side:

hit return too soon. attrib = drwxr-xr-x. so i'm assuming it means the "public" can't write to the xbox. tried the CHOMOD to no effect. how do i a. format the HDD so it allows public write, or b. change the attrib to allow public write.
