Anyone had any problems with bambi 2? Every time I go to back it up about halfway through it says there's not enough virtual memory on my computer--but that can't be right because I checked and I have plenty of space.

Gotta be your memory. Check again.

i'm pretty sure it's the macrovision ripguard telling you that. easiest way and least painful way of backing it up is to have anydvd running in background and use dvdshrink. re-author it and just drag over the movie itself and backup. no probs for me doing it that way.

Quote: If that doesn't work use VOB Blanker.
Agreed, Try this method
1. Rip with DVDFab Decrypter (New version released 2 days ago, 2.9.7.2, can be downloaded here: http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm ). Be sure to uninstall any previous versions of the program before installing latest version
2. Run those files through VobBlanker (link provided above)
3. Run the blanked files through Shrink or Recode.
If you decide to use this method, do not run AnyDVD while ripping with Fab. Good luck

I ripped with DVDFab Decrypter, then run through VobBlanker with no problems. Opened the blanked files through DVDShrink, after the analysis i try to Re-author. The title file size was showing 4336 MB (Right side window), when i drag the movie to left side window the title file size is showing 3936 MB.
Why the file size got shrinked when it's only 4.3 GB.? any idea ...

The 'main movie' wont be 4.xxx gigs, since you're just getting the 'main movie' it's not that it's been shrunk, it's just that the part you're encoding is only 3.xxx gigs

When you choose to do just a main movie backup, the file size changes to reflect the total size of all the files associated with just the main movie.
If the total size of the main movie is greater that 4300MB (your custom setting) shrink will automaticall decrease the size to reflect the 4300mb setting, if the total file size is less than 4300mb then shrink will leave it alone and display the actual size only.

I had the same problem with this movie. I thought something was wrong with my pc or maybe my blank dvds. Nero recode kept saying i was on on virtual memory or something like that so i used clone dvd and it worked perfect. I also had this problem with the movie "Waiting" but clone dvd solved the problem
