Previously used a Nec DVD Burner 4.7 +r DvD's Memorex. They worked perfectly in my Toshiba dvd player and never had problems burning. I would use DVD43 and 1 Click or Anydvd and Clone DVD depending on the movie.

I bought the LG 4167B DL Burner and memorex DL 8.5 +R discs and can't burn anything right.
I burned Valiant using DVD43 and 1 click and it would not do anything on my Toshiba but would sorta play on my other DVD just sound was choppy and the screen would bonk. So I burned again using Anydvd and Clone dvd (Newest Version) and this time wouldn't even play in any dvd player. Is this burner junk. I can still return it.
Tired of making frizbee's DL are a little more expensive.

Yeah those dl can be some expensive frisbees!
Your memorex dl's were probably made by either Ritek (good) or Philips (bad). Every drive is different on what media they prefer so make
sure the lg's firmware is up to date. Also make sure you are not burning them higher than the rated speed. Maybe slow it down at bit.
I would also use verbatim dl instead.
