Just wondering..i have been using anydvd and clonedvd2 for a while and have used both full and partial copying. I have also used anydvd and shrink, both with success. My question is, in using the full copy mode in clone2 is there any reason i should not be using this method. I am satisfied in the quality of the movies, but just wondered if there is anyhother reason not to back up full movie. Other than the fact that some may not want all the extras that go along with it. For me it just seems to be the easiest way. thank you for any input. Oh and I have tried to look for some guides as to which way is better and have only found one that said if you wanted to do the full back up that it was not the guide for me.....again thanks

If you want to backup the full movie and are satisfied with the quality then do it. It is all personal preference. Some people do movie only because it is less compression. I do it this way because of the compression and really do not want all the extras. Whatever way works for you is the best way. Happy burning.

thanks for the reply..curiosity had gotten too me....any prefrence over shrink or clone? Is there a reason to use one over the other? I like them both, just thought that since slysoft made both clone and AnyDVD i should use them together....

Whatever program works for you. Clone is a much faster program than Shrink is, and it also is not as CPU intensive as Shrink. But Shrink will do deep analysis and has quality enhancements which Clone does not. If the compression is below 70% I would use Shrink with deep analysis and AEC settings.
