so my PSP has about 5 or so dead pixels. i was thinking about buying one form a store and jsut putting my old one in the box and returning it. But are all version of the PSP in stores firmware version 2.0+?

it says what to do about dead pixles.

And no ther are some psps that are still 1.5-2.0 somewhere out in deep space. where nethier man nor technology can reach... Or you could go to ebay.

i hope that 5 dead pixels really dont bother you, i have about 6-7 and i cant even notice them 95% of the time. i havent even bothered to fix them

there not really noticable, only one of them is which its black. but only noticable on a lighter backround. i only noticed them when i used the dead pixel finder with all the different colored backround.

yep just try that thing that i posted in another thread http://psp3d.com/showthread.php?t=3574 , it worked for ma m8t he had a dead pixel and now he has none , i wish i was thier to see it as it was quite noticable
